RESPONSIBILITIES: |
The "Lost Egypt " supervisor is responsible for supervising exhibit staff and volunteers, promoting visitor interaction and enjoyment as well as overseeing educational programming. The supervisor will also be expected to maintain a positive work environment, as well as the safety and security of our visitors and artifacts.

QUALIFICATIONS: |
High school diploma or equivalent required, some college strongly preferred. Knowledge of ancient Egypt and archaeological principles and techniques preferred. One year supervisory experience strongly preferred.Good customer service and verbal skills required. Previous experience working in a museum setting preferred. Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Familiarity with Word and Excel software strongly preferred.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: |
Exhibit will be open to the public Monday through Sunday. Shift days and times vary. approxiamtely 28 hours per week. May have extended hours during peak times or around special events and programming. Exhibit shifts run September 22, 2009 through January 8, 2010. typical schedule would be 7 days every two weeks.
