RESPONSIBILITIES: |
Operate low-pressure boilers, centrifugal chillers and other associated HVAC equipment. Maintain and operate mechanical, pneumatic and electrical systems within the facility. Perform standard building maintenance functions, including but not limited to repair of plumbing, pumps, motors, various HVAC equipment and electrical systems. Use of common HVAC, mechanical and electrical diagnostic tools. All engineers are on call for emergency's, power outages, floods or major leaks, snow removal, fires, or any problems that could stop CMC from normal operations. Must be able to operate fork lifts, and boom lifts. Must be able to work at heights of 50 feet or less, must be able to lift 100 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS: |
Knowledge of commercial boilers, commercial air-conditioning equipment, and pneumatics and computerized control systems. Minimum five years experience in the maintenance and repair of the above mentioned equipment, plus ability to follow building blueprints, and mechanical drawings. Must have CFC universal certification. Trade school in HVAC, electrical, mechanical or welding a plus. Self-starter, quick study and able to work unsupervised. A written mechanical aptitude test will be given to determine abilities. Must be physically able to perform intensive manual labor. Basic computer skills are a plus. Must be able to move 100 pounds. Must have valid driver's license.
